Meet Kathy Poelker...
Kathy Poelker is internationally recognized for her work in early childhood music education. Kathy is an outstanding communicator and university lecturer, AEYC workshop leader & keynote speaker, motivator, author, consultant, composer, and children's recording artist.  Kathy's critically acclaimed songs, recordings, and books in English, Spanish, and Hmong are used in countless classrooms across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, New Zealand  & Australia.

Each year from 1988 through 1999 Kathy has been the recipient of the ASCAP Special Award for Children’s Educational Music! This is a Special Award granted by the Popular Awards panel of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers in recognition of outstanding writing in educational works for children This award is for music that is regularly performed in schools, institutions of learning, and programs across the country. Kathy has been the recipient of this outstanding award for 12 consecutive years!

Program Hours: (Suggested dress - slacks, casual)
Registration/Continental Breakfast begins  8:00 A.M.;
Workshop training   8:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.  (5.5 hours training)
Lunch is on your own.  You may choose to enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the hotel or area, or you may prefer to bring a sack lunch for the day. Lunch break is one hour, scheduled from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM.  This is a great opportunity to discuss and share ideas with fellow workshop attendees and develop new professional friendships.  


University Credit: 
One (1.0) semester hr. of Professional  Dev. Credit available through Loyola Marymount University. Substitutions/Cancellations:
